At the August 18, 2009 Parsippany Town Council meeting members of MTVFD were included in a resolution affirming that those members have met the requirements for exempt status.  Below is an excerpt from the town meeting minutes.

Granting Certificates of Exemption to Members of the Mt. Tabor Volunteer Fire Company, District No.1 – F. Carroll, P. Eisenberg, L. Ferdinandi, M. Hambel, D. Hollner, E. Lally, S. Masi, J. Resciniti, G. Stewart and P. Walek

WHEREAS, Francis Carroll, Paul Eisenberg, Louis Ferdinandi, Michael Hambel,  David Hollner,  Edward Lally,  Steven Masi, John Resciniti, Geoffrey Stewart and Paul Walek, members of the Mt. Tabor Volunteer Fire Company, District No.1 have met certain requirements pursuant to N.J.S.A.40A:14-56 which include having performed during a period of seven years, 60% of fire duty, in each year respectively.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Francis Carroll, Paul Eisenberg, Louis Ferdinandi, Michael Hambel, David Hollner, Edward Lally, Steven Masi, John Resciniti, Geoffrey Stewart and Paul Walek be granted Certificates of Exemption pursuant to the afore mentioned statute.
