The MTVFD had 2 hand pulled hose carts as our first apparatus. One cart was housed by the CMA office in the stone shed which still stands and the second by the water tower on North Place

→ 100' PLATFORM TOWER LADDER
The 1995 Pierce Aerial 100ft Platform is a well-equipped firefighting vehicle with a 2000 GPM pump, 200-gallon water tank, 1000 feet of 5-inch hose, and two pre-connected hose lines (450 feet each). It also features two K12 saws, a standard ground ladder complement, six SCBA's, a supplied air system for the ladder, and two master streams in the platform.

The MTVFD members purchased land in 1962 and started construction in 1964 for their new Headquarters building. The building was expanded in 1981 to accommodate a growing department. This building was decommissioned on February 16, 2020, and demolished on April 3 to make way for a new firehouse.
